The clock is ticking...

So I have 22 days left before I leave. And I still have no visa. Thanks to the translation service who has yet to return all of my documents.
I have 22 days left with my family and friends. 22 days left in this country. Do you know how extremely exciting yet scary that is? I've only just realized that I need to spend as much time with them as possible.
And you know what bothers me? That people I don't even know, with whom I am only acquainted with because they sit near me in physics or some such class, are saying they're going to miss me. HUH? Um, thank you, that's kind of you, but no, you're not. I don't even know you.
I'm actually freaking out about this whole leaving-the-country-for-five-months thing. I just hide it well.
And the fact that I have 22 days to go and still am without a host family is not helping. That would be comforting at the least.

I'm off to go harass the translation service.

I still have no visa either.
I have to get two more apostilles for my translated birth certificate and my translated... something else, I don't remember.
I'm freaking out.
And no host family.
Freaking out.
But once midterms are over, you're done with school!
